Why Cancer Counselling

We Hear You's first Winter Wonderland Party went with a swing on Saturday 10th November. Just under 200 guests enjoyed a drinks reception, a hog roast, delicious desserts and dancing till late. Fundraising and Communications Manager Gemma Wilkes says:

'We decided to have a more informal party this year and were delighted that so many people came along, ate, drank and danced the night away. As always we're so grateful for the support and delicious food from our event sponsors, the Orchardleigh Estate and Marston Foods. Thanks also to Jamie from Fun Casino Fun for providing the ever-popular casino, Barbers, Montgomery, Godminster and Norseland for all the delicious cheese, Planet Gold Decor for the beautiful table decorations (and the penguins) and all our table sponsors. The event raised almost £7,000, which will fund almost 160 counselling sessions for children young people and adults affected or bereaved by a life threatening condition. We'll be be holding another party next year as part of our 25th anniversary celebrations, so please prepare to do it all again!'
