Frome-based counselling charity We Hear You (WHY) are once again holding a ‘WHY Winter Wonderland’ party on Saturday 9th November at the Walled Garden, Orchardleigh Estate.
Gemma Wilkes, Fundraising and Communications Manager at We Hear You, says ‘Our first ‘WHY Winter Wonderland’ party was a huge success and made it possible for more people to come because of the lower ticket price. We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate our 25th anniversary and the life and work of our amazing founder Jill Miller and we’re really looking forward to it. The Cotswold Wedding Company are going to make Orchardleigh look extra special this year to mark the occasion’
‘The evening begins with drinks and canapes provided by Events Horizon, followed by a buffet meal prepared by the chefs at Orchardleigh and desserts donated once again by Marston Foods. Thanks to Godminster, Barbers, Montgomery Cheese, Somerset Deli and Wyke Farms for donating the cheese course and the Radstock Co-operative in Frome for crackers. There will be a fun casino, pic ‘n’ mix stand courtesy of Garbanzo’s, a ‘pimp your prosecco’ stand, photo opportunities from Mobile Photo Booth UK as well as professional photos by David Mitchell Photography. We’ll have a raffle and a charity auction featuring prizes from Mulberry, Eight Stony Street and Experience Days. Event sponsors The Milestones will provide live music, followed by a DJ till late. As always, the money raised will help individuals and their families and friends affected by a life threatening diagnosis in Somerset, BANES and Wiltshire.’
