We've revised our policy for people having counselling with WHY, following the change in government advice.
At WHY we work with many people whose immune systems are compromised because of treatment, or who live with and care for people who are immunocompromised. As such, we remain cautious and vigilant to ensure our services can continue to reach as many people as possible.
If you've tested positive for Covid-19 or have had close contact with someone who has tested positive, please call 01373 455255 or email info@wehearyou.org.uk as soon as possible to make alternative arrangements - we'll offer your sessions remotely if appropriate.
Please don't attend any WHY settings for 7 days after the positive test. If you test negative on days six and seven, you can return to face-to-face sessions. If lateral flow tests are no longer available, please talk to us about when to return.
Our counselling team will do the same, and we will advise anyone in counselling if they need to stay away from our counselling venues due to a counsellor's positive test.
Please arrive for your appointment promptly, to avoid waiting in communal areas. All other measures, such as wearing a face covering (unless exempt), practising good hand hygiene and social distancing remain in place.
Contact us if you'd like to receive a copy of the full policy. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
