Why Cancer Counselling

Fundraiser Rachel Clark is marking 10 years of supporting cancer counselling charity We Hear You (WHY) by taking on a challenge every single month in 2021 and is calling on the community to get involved. Rachel has raised more than £57,000 for WHY, organised a successful Guinness world record attempt in 2018, ran a mile every single day in 2019 and was named Volunteer Fundraiser of the Year in the national Institute of Fundraising Awards in May 2020. Rachel says:

“2021 will mark the 10th anniversary of my Mum's death and therefore the 10th anniversary of my fundraising. I’ll be bringing you all 12 challenges for WHY, one per month, that many of you can join in with. Due to the pandemic some of the challenges will be virtual but I hope that by the Spring our WHY supporters can start getting together again! The year of challenges will be launched on Saturday 2nd Jan (on my Mums birthday) so dust off those WHY t-shirts! More details coming very soon so keep an eye out through WHY or myself on social media!”.
