Our free professional counselling service supports anyone affected by cancer or a life threatening condition in Somerset, B&NES and Wiltshire. That includes family, friends, colleagues and carers as well as the person who is unwell. One in two people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime and it’s widely acknowledged that emotional support is vital in helping people cope, yet WHY receives no central government funding towards the £5,000 per week it costs to provide our service. As a result, corporate partnerships and schemes such as this one are incredibly important to WHY and we’d love you to help by voting WHY!

My Favourite Voucher Codes is a money-saving website. Visitors to the site can download voucher codes and special deals from thousands of big-brand retailers. Each month, My Favourite Voucher Codes invites three charities to take part in a competition to win 20% of the website’s profits.

Since their launch in 2012, My Favourite Voucher Codes have raised over £57,000 for more than 150 different charities. This January, We Hear You is one of the three charities chosen to take part in the competition and we’d love you to help us win the competition and secure some much-needed funds and help us support people coping with the devastating emotional impact of a life threatening diagnosis.

How does it work?

Every time a voucher code is used, My Favourite Voucher Codes make a small amount of commission, at no extra cost to the consumer. It’s through this that the donation to the winning charity is raised. The chosen charities invite their supporters to vote for them in an online poll by sharing the link through their communication channels, and the charity with the most votes wins.

It’s easy to get involved and show your support for We Hear You. From 1st January, simply head over to My Favourite Voucher Codes to cast your vote. The poll is visible on the right hand side on every page of the site – just give us a click and you’re all done. It’s completely free to vote in the poll and there’s no need for you to sign up to anything or use any voucher codes. However, if you decide to use any of the codes on offer, you’ll be contributing to the final amount we’re up for winning – worth bearing in mind if you have any shopping to do! You have until 31st January to vote in the poll, so be sure to cast your vote and share it with your friends!
